HOW DOES IT WORK?

What Tests Do you Use?

We use Molecular PCR testing. Available to anyone who is suspected as having SARS-CoV-2 based on risk of exposure and/or symptoms.

Samples are obtained on-site and sent to our local lab partner. Results are projected to take 36-48 hours once the lab receives the specimen. Frequent and regular testing is recommended.

How is my test collected?

Our staff is highly trained to make the process as comfortable as possible. The test is done by inserting a swab into your nostril approximately 1 inch into the nasal passage (midway) with the most visible drainage or the nostril that is most congested if drainage is not present. The swab is rotated several times, removed gently and this process is repeated on the other side.

We will be offering saliva testing once our laboratory partner gets approved to offer this test.

Are there out-of-pocket costs?

If you have insurance, we will bill your insurance provider and is covered by most insurance carriers. If you do not have insurance, we will bill the United States Department of Health and Human Services’ Uninsured Fund.

What if I test positive for COVID-19?

If you test positive for COVID-19, QuickTestNow will call you and your information will be shared with the County Department of Public Health (DPH). The DPH will follow-up and assign a contact tracer for you.
